A Championship Set Above the Caribbean
Where every hole is as spectacular as the view beyond it
Perched high above the Chavón River, Dye Fore is one of the most dramatic golf courses in the Caribbean. Designed by legendary architect Pete Dye, the course is carved across rugged cliffs, rolling hills and deep ravines, delivering a golfing experience where every hole is framed by extraordinary scenery. Unlike traditional coastal layouts, Dye Fore offers an elevated perspective of the Dominican Republic. From its cliffside fairways, players enjoy panoramic views across the Chavón River, the marina, Altos de Chavón and the surrounding countryside, creating one of the most visually spectacular settings in world golf. Originally opened in 2003 as an 18-hole championship course before expanding to 27 holes in 2011, Dye Fore combines Pete Dye's unmistakable strategic design with the natural drama of the landscape. The course rewards creativity and precision, demanding thoughtful shot-making rather than brute strength. Its signature stretch features seven breathtaking holes perched approximately 300 feet above the Chavón River, while the renowned 12th and 15th holes rank among the Caribbean's most memorable par threes, requiring bold carries across dramatic ravines to cliff-edge greens. For the inaugural 1970 Golf Tournament, Dye Fore provides the perfect opening stage, an unforgettable championship test where spectacular scenery meets world-class design.
